Photo book on the topic of resilience, created during the study program Camera Arts.
"Juf lies above the tree line and, at 2126 meters above sea level, is Europe's highest year-round inhabited village. It is located near the San Bernadino and belongs to the Graubünden municipality of Avers. The high valley was settled in the 15th century by the German-speaking Walsers and today a total of 30 people live there. The project deals with life in the highest village in Europe during the harsh winter.”

“Juf liegt oberhalb der Baumgrenze und ist mit 2126 m.ü.M. Europas höchstes ganzjährig bewohntes Dorf. Es befindet sich in der Nähe des San Bernadino und gehört zu der Bündner Gemeinde Avers. Das Hochtal wurde im 15. Jahrhundert von den deutschsprachigen Walsern besiedelt und heute leben knapp 30 Personen dort. Das Projekt behandelt das Leben im höchsten Dorf von Europa, während dem kargen Winter.“

« Juf se trouve au-dessus de la limite forestière et, à 2126 mètres d'altitude, est le village habité toute l'année le plus haut d'Europe. Il est situé près du San Bernadino et appartient à la commune grisonne d'Avers. La haute vallée a été colonisée au XVe siècle par les Walsers germanophones et compte aujourd'hui 30 habitants. Le projet traite de la vie dans le village le plus haut d'Europe pendant l'hiver rigoureux. »
